Making baked mac n cheese for our Thanksgiving gathering this afternoon. I prep and refrigerate till time to bake.

Decided that two would be needed as the guest list is growing due to the addition of several of The Bail's friends.

Last year there was barely enough and this year there will be more mouths to feed.

I'll make the mashed taters later.

I have to run a bunch of places picking up orders today. And I absolutely have to get things in my apartment pushed aside so that they can deliver my new TV and entertainment stand on Monday. And I haven't cleaned up from Thanksgiving cooking yet. And it's doubly bad, as I moved stuff from the kitchen into the living room because I needed more room to cook the big batches of roasted vegetables for Thanksgiving. I haven't put those things back yet, either. Gonna be busy this weekend. Thankfully no Vikings football game tomorrow, so there's an extra 3 hours that I don't usually have.

I am pretty sure I just finished making the biggest batch of mashed potatoes I have ever made.

Off shortly to daughter's house for second Thanksgiving for most of the attendees.

Got all my packages. It took 7-1/2 hours. I made a stop to drop off things before I went to pick up packages at the Amazon counter downtown. I knew I had a lot of packages, and I briefly considered bringing two collapsible shopping carts instead of one, but I figured even if I had to hold a couple in hand, I'd get it all in one. I get down there and learn that I've got eight packages waiting. Still not sweating, as I figured most would be small to medium size bags. No. The guy pulls out five big boxes of crap in addition to the small stuff. I collapsed two of the boxes down by moving the stuff into reusable shopping bags that I'd brought, and the rest fit just perfectly inside the one cart. "Can I cook or can I cook?"

Yeah, it's been a long day. I just poured my lemonade into my lap. I'd normally be annoyed, but I'm just too tired to care.

Cleaning up and clearing the path for Best Buy to bring my purchases in tomorrow. I am ready to receive.
