Finished replacing and re-keying an entrance lockset to the garage. What a cluster. An hour's work on an $11 lockset. At least it doesn't bind like the old one did.

My TV has been delivered. I canceled the TV stand and reordered it, saving $80, albeit without 24-month financing. And I'll have to assemble it by myself on Saturday. No worries.

Now I just have to pay for all this crap. I wonder what someone in the 12th century would think of modern credit financing?

My Dad has just tested positive for COVID. I hope to Hell it's a mild case. At least he's tripple-vaxxed. Possibly quadruple-vaxxed.

Edit: He's confirmed that he's had three boosters, the last being a week ago today.

Hoping for good results on the blood work I had done today.

Thankfully the lab tech with the extensive collection of rubber ducks was there today. One tiny poke and she got all the blood she needed. A few months ago she was on vacation and I got stabbed three times by two different people and no one managed to get a tube of blood out of me. I was quite happy she was working today.

I am a little unsettled by the new questions that come now that I am 65. **grumble, grumble**
