Thursday my friend is arriving from Sydney, a photographer whose work you've seen.

Friday we take the ferry to Picton and start terrorising the South Island.

Watching football. Another RMA of expensive computer parts. My 4TB NVME SSD died earlier today. The RMA instructions from Adata leave a little to be desired, but I guess I'll have to hoark over another chunk of change for shipping. Due to the insurance, when I RMA'd my graphics card the shipping was over $35. Oh well. I've got more important things to worry about. My Best Buy credit card statement should issue this week.

Considering if I want to get a tree

Finished building my table saw except for final alignment of the scale. I've been at it for a couple of hours, and my feet are hurting (arthritis). Some fastening hardware was missing, and I contacted the manufacturer two weeks ago. "Sure, we'll send that right out!" Today, I went to the hardware store and bought the missing fasteners. I'll email them back and tell them never mind sending theirs.

Considering if I want to get a tree

We stopped putting up a tree a few years ago.  One reason is that my kids put up trees for their kids and the other reason is the critters.  The boys (dogs) tend to pee on trees, and the cat wants to climb into and undecorate them.  I set out a few things on the mantle and a couple other places.
