Shopping for stocking stuffers at Target. They're eligible food stamp items, so I won't have to spend cash. Only thing left to get is wrapping paper, gift bags, and bows. They had Christmas-themed Twinkies, but they're sold out at most locations, so I ordered those for pickup at a far western suburb and paid cash. My food stamps come tomorrow.

Started three pounds of beef short ribs in a blend of Korean BBQ sauce (part pre-made, part from scratch). That is going in the slow cooker and should be ready to eat when I get home tonight.

We stopped putting up a tree a few years ago.  One reason is that my kids put up trees for their kids and the other reason is the critters.  The boys (dogs) tend to pee on trees, and the cat wants to climb into and undecorate them.  I set out a few things on the mantle and a couple other places.
