Waiting for the pest control people to come and do their thing. I bought some super jumbo gift bags at the dollar store for stocking stuffers, as the large-size gift bags would likely be too small. However, I think the super jumbo is too big. Aldi's had a size that was in between, so I'll assemble one set of stocking stuffers (they're all identical), and see which bag is best. I suspect I'll have to get the middle-sized bags at Aldi's.

Blowing snow. It's less than an inch now, light and fluffy, the leaf blower is working just fine.

Done with work for today.  Going to do some puppy prep around the house.  I get to pick her up tomorrow.  SOOOOO excited.  Will be about a 3 hour round trip, my daughter is going with me.  Wonder how the boys are going to react to the new little one.  Her name is going to be Harley.  So we will have Harley, Quinn, and Ziggy.

Luckily, when the house got decimated in the hail storm a few years back, I stood firm on NO CARPET.

Husband argued.  I let him have his way with most all other decisions, but I didn't budge on that one.  It didn't take long for him to realize that was a good idea with our zoo.

Dog cocaine is falling, some flakes are dime size, very wet and heavy. I predict excessive ibuprofen use in the next 24 hours.

One of the struts on my folding shopping cart broke on the way home. The rubber has been peeling off the wheels over time. I've got a second one, but I've requested a replacement, as that one has been used pretty hard as well. It's even older and the front wheels have very little rubber on them. I did have three, as they had sent me a new one, but it was a piece of crap compared to my old ones, so I kept using them and gave that one to Goodwill. I knew it was only a matter of time before I'd need to replace one of them, but now is not a great time. I had planned to buy one off the shelf when mine died, because I wanted one that would stand on its own when folded up. Browsing on Amazon, I only found one that will do that. My CADI waiver should cover the Amazon one instead of the crap the medical supply company stocks, but we'll see. I typically have 2+ carts full of gifts and stocking stuffers to bring down to the car on Christmas. I may have to make several trips this year.
