What's everyone up to right now?

Just logged in to RSVP to my nephew's wedding. That would be a 'no' for me. I haven't seen him since 2009, not spoken to him or had any other communication with him. Along with not wanting to go to Iowa the second week of March and risking seeing my mother, there's the fact that most of my brother's side of the family and friends are staunch Trumpophiles, and I can't think of anything I want to do less.
Guess I will decide on a gift, or not, at some point. I may just consider that my oldest granddaughter will be graduating in May and will be ignored by all of them...I'm thinking the gift buying thing might just not happen either. Families are dangerous places.

Was listening to and audiobook and think that I will have to pass on this one. I gave it over an hour and so far it is not like the description suggests. Unless this thing takes a drastic turn soon, I will not be revisiting this one. UGH
May move on to a podcast for a bit before shutting it down for the night.

It's supposed to take a dark turn but so far is endless conversations of, and about kids. Either way, I am bored with it and may go back to memoirs, which is my favorite genre. I seldom go with fiction...this reminds me why.

Misreading the instructions for some meatloaf I bought at the meat market. I read "20-35 minutes" and planned accordingly. I missed the previous sentence about 40 minutes of cooking.
Guess I'll be up late again. And I've got an early doctor's appointment in the morning. And plans to do panang curry chicken again in the afternoon. We'll see how that flies. |
