What's everyone up to right now?

Guess I will decide on a gift, or not, at some point.  I may just consider that my oldest granddaughter will be graduating in May and will be ignored by all of them...I'm thinking the gift buying thing might just not happen either.

Families are dangerous places.

Dominos gift card, at the most. Smile

Getting dinner started. The rice will take about 45 minutes and then I can cook the curry chicken.

Just back from the vet. Quinn got his annual shots and checkup and now I need to budget for a dental cleaning for him...after the pup is done with her shots.

YIKES.

Get them checked out. Happened to me when I was younger, turned out one of the veins into my scrotum had got twisted shut causing blood flow to slow to a trickle. Met a lad in the hospital who had left it go so long gangrene set in.

PS What I'm doing is having a few beers after a hectic week of work, trying to sort out lots of training courses (Gardaí: "we'd absolutely love to do that training, but the time it's in is absolutely awful". Like trying to herd cats some times), a large influx of police certs (Canada has been very popular for the last four years) and my usual mix of abstract letters (for accidents) and collection permits.

Did so on Monday.
Diagnosis: Epididymitis.
Prescription: A 10-day course of SMZ-TMP DS
Results: Not quite as good as previous antibiotics have been, but at least pain is reducing.

Debating whether to get something at Taco Bell today. It's basically 0° F and I've just spent a bundle on games for my XBOX. I've got the fixins for Mapo Tofu, but I'm not all fired to cook. I knew it needed ground pork, but not how much. I bought a pound. It only needs two ounces. I was going to use the rest in chili, but I didn't have time to pick up a red pepper yesterday and now the weather has turned. Maybe I'll just vacuum seal two-ounce portions for future batches of Mapo Tofu. But I've never made it, so I don't even know if I'll like it. I bought kimchi this week. That sounds like a good idea for lunch.

Currently sipping on some whiskey.

Giving my new SSD a bit to recuperate before checking its speed again. Copying a half terabyte of data no doubt exhausted the cache.

Just had to re-sign into Excel using my Dad's account because they decided to deactivate the account I was using. It took well over half an hour to do this.

Experiencing some mild vertigo this morning. My dad had a similar issue so it might be genetic. Heading downtown for an Amazon return in sub-zero weather.
