Waiting for my homemaker to come. I've got some errands to run later, including visiting a couple of Asian grocery stores and picking up three pounds of pork belly at the meat market. I was going to cook Thai curried shrimp last night, but bailed and reheated some leftovers, so that probably needs doing today before the red pepper gets old and wrinkly. I normally try to get an hour of reading and an hour of housework or other productive activity done each day, but it can be hard when I'm running all over town half the day doing errands. I may focus on finishing up getting the new computer put in place and ready. I'm remoted into it now so that Firefox and Thunderbird on it stay current with my daily use, but aside from that it doesn't have any software installed and the graphics card still needs to be moved over to it. Computer work is easier than housework when I'm low on energy. Back when I was depressed all the time, I worked on computers just to pass the time, as it can be a pretty brainless activity.

Drinking some very nice beers in the Hop In pub in Brecon. Definitely worth a session. Will also recommend the Brecon Tap up the road. Got a great feed yesterday followed by a few lovely pints.

Went to the rental house and put out the trash and green recycling barrels. There's been a truck, apparently abandoned, sitting in front of the house for over a week. I can't believe that the ever-greedy City of Los Angeles hasn't laid a parking ticket on it, since the streets get cleaned "every" Thursday, and any vehicle parked by those signs at least gets ticketed. Had to put the barrels in front of the driveway. Really good look, there. Realtors coming over and prospective buyers get to look at the derelict, and can't even park in front of their prospective home, to look at it.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Having a traditional Irish red ale. I picked up an order of pork belly today. I forgot to ask the price before ordering. It came to $30 for three pounds.

Back here in Largo, Clearwater adjacent, for my annual hearing test.

Booked a flight home the morning after my surgery consult next Monday. If they aren't going to do this quickly, I want to be home while I wait. My appetite for living out of a small suitcase at my mom's has its limits.

So that's what your Scientologists handlers are callling it. Nice cover.

Suiting in the waiting room for one of my kids checkups. Man, the tv programming in this place is soul draining. Nothing but warts and cancer and strokes.
