RE: What's everyone up to right now?

We found some Russet potatoes at the grocery this week. Yellow potatoes similar Yukon Golds are what's common here, and they don't mash quite like Russets - so my wife made her famous (to me) mashed potatoes and panko breaded dorado (mahi mahi). If there is a heaven, this will be served there.
Went diving this morning at the usual two sites, in addition to the normal tropical reef fish, I spotted an octopus, a giant puffer fish, and a very grouchy moray eel. The route we take depends a lot on the experience level of everyone in the boat - there were no really green divers so we dove the canyon, which has a precipitous drop to over a thousand feet (we stayed above 90). Not somewhere you take someone who doesn't have great buoyancy control skills.

Love, love, love good mashed potatoes.
Glad to hear you are doing well enough to dive.

Thanks, I'm feeling much better, I'm taking advantage of it
LOL my wife has a figurative arsenal of tricks for mashed taters: butter, half and half, whole cream, cream cheese, goat cheese, grated cheese, roasted garlic, herbs, etc. I'm very spoiled in the mashed tater department.

Turns out my Dad's death has caused my mother to redouble her beliefs and the needling about having kids.

I think I must have gotten about three hours of sleep and not in succession. Actually kind of glad it's supposed to rain most of the day 'cause I can usually sleep well on a rainy day. It's Mother's Day here and I think I will be choosing sleep as my gift to me.

Rainy day here. I'm going to Maplewood to donate in an hour. This is going to suck.

We’ve got a few in the neighbourhood you can have. Annoying little pishers, but you can get them at cost.
