What's everyone up to right now?

The concert was actually a lot of fun. The theme was MTV so it was 80s and 90s music and some really well done.

At the beginning the choir director and his wife came out and welcomed everyone and set up what was to come.

At the end, they did two encores. One a boy band song for the guys to sing and the other for the girls was "My Heart Will Go On". The band director came out in a white nightgown, gray wig, and huge blue necklace...a la the elder Rose from the movie "Titanic". I leaned over to my daughter and said, "You know that's illegal in some states."

She said, "I doubt Mr. (garbled due to applause) cares. Then she corrected herself and referred to him as Dr. Again, I didn't catch the name. I looked on the program to find out that the choir director's name is Dr. Dame. I nearly choked. How perfect. I hope the Texas Rangers weren't waiting for him outside.

I'm glad I went. The two girls that I did know are going to the same college as my granddaughter come August. I made sure to wear the T-shirt from that college to represent them.

Drinking coffee and watching the news. I've got tickets to the ballgame today, but the weather is quite gloomy. The rain is expected to miss us, though.

Bored. I bought a new router, but I intend to flash it with third-party software, and so that will have to wait until the money gets sorted next month.

Picked up some unseasoned Angus burger patties at Aldi's. I don't know if they taste any better, but at least they look better than the seasoned ones -- they're nice and pink. I'm hopeful.
