Taking a nice, hot shower.

Everything is ready to pack in the car - hopefully it will all fit. I'll find out shortly. First stop, northern Utah. The logistics are a PITA. If it was just a straight drive down, it'd be easy, we'd do it in 5 days and it wouldn't really matter how everything was packed but add two big dogs, a stop to scuba dive the gulf, that we are camping the first two stops, and I don't want to have to unpack a bunch of shit when we stop. It seems like every time we've done this the conditions change enough that there's always doubt. Seems that their car just fits. Or maybe that was the first place. The cost of gas would be killer in an RV, even a small one going that long a distance.

Yeah that was our rental, the place we bought has more room. It's in the neighborhood of $450 in gas each way in our Kia, a gasoline RV is going to be three times that. We're only doing this a few more times in any case. RV doesn't make sense. I might bring my truck next time, it will be the last year I can bring a foreign plated car (the Kia has Mexican plates,). ![]()
Definitely like the actual fall weather we are having today.
Zig is standing in the yard watching Harley and Quinn having the zoomies around the backyard. After them not wanting to go out at all due to the heat, it's nice to see them enjoying the change in the weather.

Stopping at some burg in the middle of Idaho for food. I really don't see the attraction for living here.
Enjoying being able to open the windows for the first time since spring. Temps are going up again but going to enjoy the moment for as long as possible.
