Needs a strong word, but I'm definitely a fan. The way it's worked out so far is that everything we have is mine, and all of the money to maintain it is hers.
Truth is, it could all fall down around me and I wouldn't notice. She keeps it tippy top. The fam jokes that we'd be happy fucking in a box under a bridge if we didn't have kids. Theyre not wrong, except for how we'd be happy fucking in a box under a bridge even though we have kids.

I can understand appreciate this sort of dynamic in which you have discovered your true selves. Similarly, I am lucky to be with a man who accepts my craziness and my inability to put up with nonsense in the workfield.

That last part is a big thing, and it's something I'm only now getting the opportunity to extend to my SO. I'd noped out of the workforce right about the time I started posting here on the boards. Even if I wanted a nine to five, no one in their right mind would put up with my shit. Right now, she's a couple of weeks out of working for assholes for thirty years straight or so, and feeling really anxious about those assholes not yelling at her to do something.
She'll get over it.

Cruising around the Interwebz and see that a man I know died. I used to do the books for his restaurant and liked him and his wife. He was business savvy and his wife helped with the restaurant he opened some years back (he has a second location now). She was also a personal trainer.
Curious, I tried to pull up an obit to see what happened. Didn't find that but did find the filing the wife made for divorce in 2020 and his mugshot from last week for solicitation of prostitution. Holy smokes. Did.not.expect.that.

There's a festival celebrating an annual seasonal beer at Surly Brewing on Saturday. It sounds like a lot of fun. If I test negative for covid today, maybe I'll go.

This is one of the downsides to quarantine. Most people cannot afford to be out of work for an extended period of time while they are testing positive for weeks and even months.

Starting the long journey back tomorrow. Everything is ready to pack in the car - hopefully it will all fit. I'll find out shortly. First stop, northern Utah.
