Laundry and other chores and now sitting down to do little to nothing. Finally.
Our Beagle/Dachshund mix gets all twitchy before a rainstorm. Our son gives her "Quiet Moments", which calms her down. Maybe that would work on the dervish? We have to tranquilize our Cavalier mix before a vet visit. She will still not tolerate a thermometer, and I can see her panic when she gets the muzzle.

I may look into that. A CBD dog treat I got for her a few months ago didn't do anything except cost me money. When I take her to get her fixed, it's tempting to let the vets keep her for a couple days. I threatened to give her one of husband's Trazadone pills but he thinks it would kill her. I am not sure it would even slow her down.
**Note so no one freaks out - I would not give her Trazadone. But I will have to get something for her during the healing time if not longer.

We give our two trazodone frequently, the old man to tone down his dementia behavior, his daughter before any significant vet visit. It was recommended by the vet and no it won't kill at the correct dose.

I would be open to Trazadone or something a bit stronger than they usually give for a spay. But her issue isn't aggression or anxiety...she is simply hyper...and I really don't want to dampen her exuberance but it is hard to train her or have her calm down. I think she has doggy ADHD. Some days she is quite the challenge.

Instant Pot full of chili is in the fridge. Now I just need to make something for dinner.

Give her time, she'll grow out of that...................... hopefully.

Had our first snow this AM, not much, came down as little balls. Looks like a bean bag chair exploded.

I think I have a gout flare-up in my right foot, and I have no idea what could have caused it.

We give our dog 25 mg of tramadol before a vet visit. She's gotten a lot better over the times we've taken her. She got traumatized either by the previous owners or the pound people.

The only other thing I can think is how I twisted my foot on a swivel chair leg when I tried to sit down. That happened days ago. Would the pain from that just now pop up?
