My wife is now home, still slightly swollen and in a bit of pain, oral antibiotics for a week then a re-check.
After her shower we found out that the docs marked the cellulitis zone with indelible ink. She'll have an amoeba looking outline on her forearm for awhile.

Embellish it with a sharpie and tell people it was from Halloween.

Glad she is out of the hospital. In my experience, I tend to get better at home.
Maybe she can get the zone tattooed after she heals up so she never forgets.

Not to worry. I’m sure some desperately hungry person will riffle through your groceries and, finding no ready cash in the trolley, will wander off, still hungry but morally secure in the knowledge that they aren’t adding to the underlying issue of food insecurity.

Picked up groceries and put them away. Did some laundry. Cleaned the dogs' (and cat's) water fountain. Running the dishwasher. Gave Zig his new bed...which he really likes. Husband is going to some car show thing with a coworker...now I need to decide if I want to do more sewing or just veg out on the couch for the day. Leaning toward the latter.

Ordering from Walmart. A few of the bigger items were low on stock, which required some shuffling things around. And I discovered that they have breaded okra, which I'd forgotten. I love fried okra, but it's such a mess to make from scratch.
