I like watching him because he is such an old school veterinarian.  Reminds me of going on calls with my father.  The biggest difference is that dad did it because it was a decent living.  Dr. Pol seems to genuinely like what he does.

Debating whether to make a turkey this year. I've never cooked a whole turkey. I usually just buy a turkey breast.

My wife likes white, I like dark, always has to be a whole turkey to keep everyone happy.

Thanksgiving dinner is the one meal that I enjoy putting together.  I like the whole turkey thing since having stuff to make gravy is crucial to the success of the meal.  You can get a pretty small one and not end up eating turkey till the new year.

I think the main drawback to a whole turkey is finding space to store the roasting pan. I'd like to get a rib roast after Christmas and I could use it then, but the rest of the year it just takes up space.

I know it's not eco-friendly, but I buy a disposable pan once a year for Thanksgiving.  It's also less to clean.

Letting the dye on my hair marinate. I haven't colored my hair for a while. It was just too long to work with.

Going wild or mundane with the color?
