Looking at stuff to serve with fettuccine Alfredo. I've got some leftover tomatoes and I ordered some fresh Parmesan. Drizzle with oil and spices, broil 8 minutes, sprinkle cheese, and broil a minute more.

I did a thing. I've worn my hair very long for over a decade, and have picked up some (well, more than some) grey in my dull brown. It's now not-quite-shoulder length and my wife describes the color as "caramel with honey highlights".

I went to the ER with B/P of 75/52. They kept me three days and sent me home. Like the three times before that one.

I've decided to make two turkey breasts this year. I've got a coupon for $5 off $30. I need to get my freezers organized first. I've been interested in having Cajun turkey. This would be a good time.

I've got a tray of stew meat being delivered tomorrow. So I'll make beef bulgogi. Currently waiting for some noodles to chill for Thai peanut noodle salad.

As mentioned elsewhere, we're going the Cornish game hens in a slow cooker (6 qt.). Apparently "game hens" are just immature chickens. Very tender, including compared to roasting hens.

Setting up an ersatz light therapy setup in my basement.

Ingredients:
1) a bulb that’s as close to natural sunlight as is feasible (something around 5000 Kelvin with a CRI of 96 or higher). In this case, the GE Sun-Filled Daylight. (Costs $11 at my supermarket.)
2) a lamp fixture.
3) a place where you’re likely to sit for a long time. (Like, say, a room where you watch movies.)



I originally chose to use the overhead light, but apparently, it’s not safe for that, so I’m sticking to a lamp. I’m still working out the kinks for lamp placement.
