Spent all this afternoon waiting on Dad. He hasn't been feeling well lately, and it reached the point where he went to the ER. That said, he was well enough to drive there himself. And he's back. Nothing's been learned.

We see it constantly in the nursing home. Stubborn elderly people just do not learn.

• Chest X-Ray
  
• 4mg Morphine IV
  
• Given fluids for dehydration
  
• CAT scan of neck
  

The X-Ray and CAT scan revealed fuck-all new.

Yes, there was pain. Indeed, he’s had chronic pain since he got into a car accident a couple years back.

Just finished laying out two quilts on the batting and backing so I can stitch them together. Blood was lost, as usual, but nothing I can't handle.

Good grief - it takes less and less time for my back and shoulders to start tensing up after a couple hours of doing the above. Gettin' old sucks.
