Day 2 of Dad being in the hospital. No known timeline for when he's coming home. He's doing fine. He said his pain is down to 7.

An update on Dad’s situation, they’re apparently working on trying different dosages for pain meds to keep him functional. Also, something I forgot to mention, they gave me a visitor badge and not only got my name wrong, they gave me a picture that looks nothing like me:

With this specific instance? No. But he has had to deal with pain resulting from whiplash for the better part of a decade.
