I suspect you mean it keeps dropping on you? To lowest setting? If so you might just need a new cylinder.
Of course if you want to use that as an excuse to get a new chair, more power too you. 
Good to know. I ordered a cylinder but it was almost as much as I paid for the chair. It was only $40 originally. I'll watch for a deal on a chair. If I don't find one then I'll swap the cylinder.

Just finished another quilt - no blood was shed.
Deciding what to do next...I have two more in process but can't decide which one to work on or to start another one.
