If it wasn't for the panic buyers, we wouldn't be in this boat. There's plenty to go around, if people don't hoard it. I have to laugh at the assholes who bought palettes (cumulatively) of toilet paper (for instance) from Costco and were denied a return. My wife has lots of material for quilts. If it came down to it, we could use patches of that material for toilet tissue and run them through the washing machine. Not an optimum solution, of course.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

I dare someone to get into my fabric stash for that purpose.

Like I say, not an optimum solution. You wouldn't believe how much material my has.

Had to put Nico down this afternoon. His pancreatitis and back/hip pain just became to much for the poor old man. My wife will be a basket case for a few days.
Thankfully the vet hospital offered cremation services.

Sorry to see this. It's never fun to put down a pet.

I'm so sorry. That's so difficult but I am sure it was the right time. That doesn't make it easier but as pet lovers we need to be as humane as possible.

Condolences. As hard as it was, you did the right thing.

Day 3 of the hospital saga. I accidentally backed into another car while trying to find a parking space. Fortunately, the other guy was understanding and the only damage to either of our cars was cosmetic. He has my insurance, but I was so flustered I forgot to get his.
Also, Dad’s improving, but we’re still not sure when he’s coming home.

Glad to hear your dad is getting better.
The cars can be fixed. Focus on dad.

Might be seeing a professional soon, within the next couple months, regarding my recurring antisocial tendencies. Voluntarily, of course.
