What's everyone up to right now?

Preparing the vegetables for tomorrow's pot roast. I was going to get up early and prepare everything this morning, but I just couldn't do it. For some reason my sinuses were all stuffed up last night and I even slept in an hour. This will work better, as I don't have as much to do once I get up.

Listening to the rain. It's been raining and relatively cool for days during what is usually a time with no rain.

I figured out what to get my brother-in-law for his birthday. There are a couple of prime steak houses in town that offer gift cards. I'll get him and my sister a fancy dinner at each.

Getting gifts for them is becoming harder and harder. I guess my brain isn't as creative as it used to be.

I got my pot roast started. I had to cut about a pound off to fit it in the slow cooker, so I vacuum-sealed that and the leftover veggies and froze it. That will make an easy meal somewhere down the road.

Cold and windy out today. I'm glad to be home again.
