Buying myself some Christmas presents. I finally caved and ordered the Victorinox Chinese Chef's knife I wanted and a blade guard to match.

Put an acoustic and an Ibanez electric (no Floyd Rose bridge) on my xmas wish list. Now that I'm starting to play stuff that is at least recognizable, even if not very good yet, I want to learn different styles and set different tunings so I don't have to retune the guitar every time I change songs.

I'm also picking up a second-hand Vox amp from a trusted friend and have also added a couple pedals to the wishlist.

Yeah, I got the bug.

Planning out my day in my head. I have a big push to get payroll done in a day instead of two so that will fill a big part of day.

Then thinking about working on the last quilt I need to finish for a Christmas gift. Finished one yesterday for The Bail's other roommate. I'm excited as I found a new supplier for backing fabric and the one I finished yesterday surpassed my vision of how things would come together.

Since we aren't doing anything or going anywhere tomorrow, I suppose that will be a cleaning day in preparation for having the family here on Friday. If that damn turkey ever thaws. It's still frozen solid.

Glad for the long weekend as my new laptop arrives today. I will need to get it set up and make sure all peripherals are in working order.

I think this is so cool.  As a kid my parents didn't let me attempt playing any musical instrument - that was my sister's gig.  I love music but my skilz are limited to cueing up what I want to hear.  My talents are geared more toward sewing, which sis does not do.  But she has been singing with a fairly well-known chorale in the Chicago area for many years to keep herself involved in music.

Made a last-minute run to Aldi to grab a couple of hams before they disappear. One to bake and one to cut up for cooking.
