Watching football and having a late supper. I didn't get up after the Vikings game until six. Oh well. Vikings won. Seahawks won. Good day.

Going camping for a few days with friends.
It will be intense. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" RE: What's everyone up to right now?

Starting up a backup of my laptop, because I’m going to get a new one for the holidays (probably my birthday). Given that Windows is going to stop supporting Windows 10 by this time next year (plus the laptop is eight years old and can’t run Windows 11), I’m going to need it. To stave off anxiety over having someone else controlling my laptop for an extended time, I’m watching The Holdovers.

Looking at replacing the kitchen stove now instead of later when the chump's wet dream of fucking the public with tariffs commences.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Trying to control my dental anxiety. I have an appointment in a couple hours that is not going to be the least bit pleasant and it's gonna hurt my wallet too.

Still working on trying to back up my hard drive for my new laptop. Alas, it’s still proving chaotic.
So far, we’ve been working with two methods: 1) transferring my files to an external drive. Drawback: the drives we’re using are absolute crap. At best, they move slowly with unnervingly long times where the transfer rate is zero bytes per second. At their worst, they eject if you breathe on them wrong, and it’s a crapshoot whether or not the data even stays on the drive. 2) using OneDrive. Drawback: somehow, things got screwy. That’s all I know. That said, apparently, Dad has primed a USB transfer cable. This may help.

Watching football. I thought I'd downloaded the Pit game. I guess I'll have to settle for the Seahawks and the Jets.

Taking a break before heading to Maplewood to donate plasma.
