Unboxing my new, 10" carbon steel skillet. Today is the last day to return it, so I'm checking for defects. The preseasoning on it looks better than that which came on the Tramontina skillet.

And I ordered a 10.5" cast-iron skillet from Walmart. Because it was cheap. And I don't have that size in cast-iron.

Paying bills. I've been spending a bit too much, basically on food. I suppose that's okay for now. My bank balance is a little high atm anyway.

I was going to make a trip to Walmart today, but due to circumstances and the bus schedule, that may wait until Monday. Either that, or I need to go to Eagan instead of Roseville.

I missed the Best Buy Visa card they sent me to replace the one that expired. Since it was from Best Buy, I presumed it was a balance transfer offer or something else that was equally useless.

Waiting on a delivery from Walmart. Since they changed their delivery windows to two hours, it seems that every delivery is made at the last minute.

Back home south of the border briefly. I'm perhaps naively attributing it to a recent medication change but I'm feeling like I'm at a breaking point. I'm fucking tired.

My Walmart delivery never showed up. The customer service rep said that a cancellation was requested on Thursday, but processed today, and to await confirmation. I think that's a crock, but I guess I can't escalate the issue for 48 hours as a result. I was going to go to the store for a few items, but I guess I'll have to wait and see how this plays out.

Google Drive is ass. It creates a special, non-standard folder full of bookkeeping data in the directory with your synced files. I inadvertently tried to copy that folder and it crashed the disk. The resulting mess on the disk took an hour, access to a Linux box, and an appeal to some arcane disk partitioning knowledge to clear it up. Total waste.
