Moved things around in my room, again. Took the sliding doors off the closet in order to slide the recliner inside.

Christmas shopping. I picked up Target gift cards from the store, the rest are coming via Amazon. Once those are ordered, I'll worry about stocking stuffers. I picked up gift bags for that when I went to Target.

Got into a minor accident while getting Crumbl. I was in a lane, and the woman behind me decided to back up. And she kept backing up until she hit the front of my car. Initially, it seemed like things went normally, but things started to go pear-shaped. First sign happened when we decided we couldn't stay in the same spot, so I suggested we regroup at the Outback Steakhouse. We decided to move to a parking lot, but she decided to move to Chile's instead of the Outback steakhouse. The Chiles is farther away from the scene of the crime than Outback. Then she decided to take my phone to photograph her insurance papers. They came out blurred and virtually unreadable. She admitted she caused the problem by backing into me, but downplayed what had happened as only a scratch; further inspection revealed that she had significantly dented the front hood. It could have been the first fold of an accordion. She did not acknowledge this when I told her this. Eventually, she just said that I had her insurance, so I could just do it on my own. She fled the scene. At least I got the woman's license plate number and the make of her car (I'm not sure about posting her plate number, but I can say it was a dark Toyota Rav4 with a spare tire on the back which I think ended up causing most of the damage.) Unfortunately, since the car was apparently a lease, I didn't get her name. All I know is that she's in her 50s with braided hair and glasses, and I'm 85% sure she's Indian.

At least nobody was hurt, and the car was still drivable. I'm just pissed that she ghosted me.

Why can't you get her name because the car was a lease?

Because after we Traced the plate, it linked to a dealership in Arlington Heights. Apparently, at least in America, leases can do that.

Have you filed a police report? I'm sure the cops can find out her name.
