Sitting in bed, drinking vodka and cherry, watching Cell Block H on DVD (thanks, Amazon) and trying to make myself go and get some shopping in. Moar vodka, at least.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Struggling with the public school system. We are not low income and my son is not special needs so he isn't getting accepted into pre-k. We're trying to find a private school but they are all fucking faith based around here. Were probably going with A Montessori school and just be ass broke for the next year or two.

Isn't that implicit when you decide to have kids: That you'll be broke until they graduate college and/or get a job and move out? :p
Seriously, though, that sounds like a sucky situation. Child-care can rob you blind.

Basically, yeah. It feels like we are always broke. Kids are so damn expensive. Even just one.
