What's everyone up to right now?

Well.
It has been raining steadily here in Perth, Western Australia all day. What better time than to start baking?
So, we have sausage rolls, peanut butter cookies with chocolate-chips and a roast lamb leg for dinner with all the trimmings.

Now if only I could get my hot water service to pump out 50 degrees of hot water as opposed to 40 degrees (Celsius) I would be one happy and content Kichi.

By the way, mother (the 78 year old diagnosed with kidney cancer) is doing well. She should have a full recovery. The father (80 year old with knee reconstruction) not so good. We are hoping he dies soon. Things are not so great, weaning him off oxycodone (?) and a very low haemoglobin is not a good mix. Still.....

I have a Zen Badger, who at the moment is battling with some tank game programme and food is on the way. Sunday here in Oz so may your day be as carefree as mine.

I'm about to spend 10k on a stupid rock for the long suffering wife for putting up and cleaning after me for 25 years. I am nothing without her.
If that's what makes her happy, it's the least I can do.

Lol. That's cool. I'm sure your wife doesn't see it as suffering or putting up with you (or I hope not haha)
I like things to be super clean and I understand that not everyone cares about that as much as I do. I guess I just prefer to hear "hey I didn't clean the bathroom bc idgaf if it's clean, you can clean it if you want" than, "hey I cleaned the bathroom so you can use it while you're here". Umm no I'm sorry sweeping the floor is not cleaning the bathroom, your bathroom is not clean. Sicko.

Lol anyways I'm just venting :p

I'm a male and a perfectionist, if anything in my house is not clean I will spend a great amount of time making it shine again. Sometimes I wonder if I have a disorder or I'm just perfectionist. The only thing I'm not a perfectionist is my handwriting, because I've tried too hard and it simply doesn't improve. When me and my girlfriend clean rooms she takes half an hour, I take one hour because I like leaving everything perfect.
