Just finished exercising, showering and shaving my 1 week beard, in that order - I feel some weird nostalgia now that I'm a week away from classes starting, something I didn't feel in school but now feel in college, I can't wait for it to start again - Even though I'll skip the first week because it's mainly composed by presentations and uninteresting shit.

I took yesterday off. Spent all day in bed watching Netflix. It was glorious. I'm back at uni today. I have 4000 words to write by Wednesday. That's the goal.

If by uni you mean university then I will be back too next week, but no papers, the only evaluation method is a final exam

My course goes through the summer and finishes as soon as I submit this diss. Which I'm hoping I can do at the end of next week. I'm tired of it already.
I'm sad I'm missing freshers this year. I'm moving a few hours south on the 19th. And freshers starts that weekend or the next, I don't remember.

FatAndFaithless has the idea, but it's less on the who and more on the what. Every first year uni student (they don't have the freshman, sophomore...etc because BA/BSc's are normally 3 years so it's first year, second year, final year) here is considered a fresher, but freshers is like the first few weeks of uni. I guess like welcome week (I don't know though, I didn't go to a typical American university). The focus is on finding the societies you want to join and meeting your flatmates and going out as much as humanly possible. It's basically a week (or three) of constant drinking.
In Britain club=sport and society=drinking group.
Anyway, long story short, freshers is the first few weeks of uni focused on drinking. IMO.

I was clinically speaking an alcoholic for two weeks of freshers.
I had no hangover during that time, I was still tipsy going to lectures...
The next 3 years were some horrific withdrawal symptoms though.
