Just got a rejection email from a publisher... for a book that I've already published and has been on sale for many months now.

I was clinically speaking an alcoholic for two weeks of freshers.

I had no hangover during that time, I was still tipsy going to lectures...

The next 3 years were some horrific withdrawal symptoms though.

Definitely been still drunk going to my 9am lectures.

Showed up to do a presentation of my work with a temporary tattoo still on my face... Thankfully a lecturer had also been at the same three nights of parties for the event and had her tattoo on her cheek as well.

Once I'm done here I'm not drinking for a year.

As for what I'm doing, I was totally on a roll. 200 words in a half an hour and then it stopped and two hours has gone by. I get distracted so easily.

Grumbling to myself about my HOA's double standards about landscaping.

Am planning on talking to a neighbor who did extensive planting and how she got away with it (seriously, she put in roses, hydrangeas, and relandscaped everything around her unit) when all I want to do is plant, like, 3 low maintenance shrubs that require watering (done by the sprinkler system) and pruning ONCE A YEAR to block the straight shot view into my living room.

Ask permission after it's done. If you're even approached, act like that person's new garden made you think your shrubs were okay.

Just made up a recipe. I am so good. I had some stew meat frozen for like a month. Pulled that bitch out. Marinade with Balsamic, Soy, Brown Sugar, Mustard, Pepper and Salt for about an hour. Pan sear on high heat, when the steak is med-rare, throw in some onions, minced garlic, and mushrooms. Throw some balsamic in the pan and carmelize everything. Toss some penne pasta in EVOO, throw in the pan and toss everything together.
