Homemade cooking is most beneficial for one's health, but thankfully there are also health stores, one of which I am an employee, where one can still eat healthy without the guilt of shopping at Walmart or having the guilt of not cooking for one's self.

For tacos...like...real tacos. It is not about health. It's that store made flour tortillas are not for Mexican tacos. American tacos sure. But they don't taste the same. At all. It changes the texture and flavor completely. It's like eating a completely different taco. It's cool not to want to make them (though, corn tortillas are super easy to make I can make tons of them in a very short time), but go to a taco stand and eat authentic tacos al pastor. Even if only just once. Your life will never be the same because so much yum.

I live in San Diego County, where sure, you can buy shitty tortillas, but if you go to one of the local mom-and-pops, you can buy some really effing good "prepackaged" (Abuela's in the back making them all day, while someone puts 'em in a ziploc) tortillas for cheaper, yummier, and easier than doing it at home.

Well that's not the same. We have a place here that's actually called "la casa tortilla" and it's just a few ladies who sell handmade tortillas. When I said make them yourself is best, I really just meant handmade. They're just as good handmade by someone else
