Living with my mid-sixties parents in a place where I know almost no one else, I either need a social life or a hobby. I figure this is a good start.

Just put two loaves of homemade bread in the oven.

As part of my diet I'm trying to eat no processed / prepared foods, and more scratch made stuff. The idea is to be very aware of everything I'm putting in my stomach.

I do butter in limited amounts. This batch is just all purpose white flour. This batch is more of a test, I'll be using whole wheat if it turns out - its been a long time since I made bread from scratch and I'm using a new stand mixer.
