Wondering why I am seeing lots of lightning in the clouds outside, but when I check the local radar, there is nothing - not even cloud cover. Possible heat lightning or what?

I dunno though. Heat lightning isn't supposed to look violent is it? This has all kinds of fork lightning. I'm just glad it's not directly over my house.

I don't know what that is, but this one time we had lightning with no thunder. It was the weirdest thing ever seeing this lightning going off with no sound effects. Was almost like I'd gone deaf
