What's everyone up to right now?

That involves shoving electrical probes - at the end of needles - deep enough to reach the nerves in my hip down to my toes. One of those needles goes in 105mm and it's a big thick bastard. The one they had to drive in through a calloused part of my foot was the worst. I swear the guy was Dr. Mengele.

The worst part is the test was fucking inconclusive.

I have really bad dislike of needles. I'm not afraid of them so much as they repulse me.

Can't blame you. That sounds like an awful thing to have to go through for nothing.

I know what you're talking about with the nerve needle. The one they put in my hip went to that same nerve, and it goes deep. Hurts like a sonofabitch, but I still love to watch it one the ultrasound. Also, the dead leg after surgery is nice, and lessens the amount of pain meds you need.

One time the navy corpsman hit the nerve above the femoral branch, and I couldn't feel my dick for a week. That was terrible, and I was worried for a good three days that ol' Michael's Jordan wasn't coming back.

Yikes! I've had that goddamned test done twice now, once on upper extremities, once on lower. I don't know that they could get me to do it again. I have to see a different neurologist in October, hopefully he'll have answers.

Fucking quacks.
