Following the hockey game. Today's the first day of the NHL season; any fans?
Toronto's 19-year-old Auston Matthews, #1 pick in the last NHL draft, from hockey hotbed, err... Phoenix, Arizona, is the first player in NHL history to score four goals in his debut. Yes, that is Auston with an "o". Hockey fans better learn to spell it right, because it's gonna come up a whole hell of a lot. Additionally, the Maple Leafs are so sad that they're still doing everything they can to waste the record-setting effort; they're tied 4-4 with a few minutes left.

Watching local news from Seattle, which is having some serious storms. Also following MLS timeline of Seattle Sounders vs. Houston Dynamo, in which the Sounders could clinch a playoff berth (after a rough year).
