Little update.
I'm on much stronger antibiotics, they've taken blood tests and I have to drop off urine tests every morning for 3 days.
Bloody hell.

Decided not to drive down to the University for the Astronomical Society meeting, as we suffered the wrath of an attack-trained snowstorm at rush hour and I really don't feel like going out again tonight. Working on the last little bits of my insulation project instead.

Just closed the Minecraft client, after like a 8 hour gaming session (with 2 breaks).

I love the disrespect I get from this fucking family.
I suggest that you don't cook for them for one night. Or rub the dirties with their best clothes.

This does nothing. They know how to use the stove. I think maybe it's time for me to take another week long vacation without them here and change the wifi password and take the tv remote with me.

Any sign of blood in the urine?

Possibly a kidney stone that's not fully obstructing anything yet. If it is, though, get it taken care of because they can really mess you up. Also, kidney stone pain, so I've heard, is second only to child birth in terms of pain level so for your sake I hope it's not a kidney stone. Do you drink a lot of milk or other calcium heavy beaverages? Calcium stones are more common than other kinds...
Don't dilly dally; messed up kidneys because you waited to take care of a problem can be bad in the future. You can really mess stuff up. I'd definitely get a second opinion and in the meantime try to keep your urine dilute so if it is kidney stones you're not encouraging the formulation of crystals. Don't drink milk products, and probably err toward the clear fluids rule until you see another doc.
** I'm not a doctor; you should see an actual one for medical advice.
Two years ago (almost exactly) I had a kidney stone that blocked my left ureter. My left kidney swelled with urine and puss, and I was septic. When I went to the ER, I had a fever of 104, and my blood work was so messed up the ER doctor was surprised I was even conscious. I was likely 2-3 days from dying.
So, yeah, take all your antibiotics, and if you haven’t yet, ask your doctor for a urologist consultation. I’m on diet + medicine regimen to combat the formation of future stones, and see my urologist once a year with a urine test, blood work, and next year an X-ray and maybe CT scan.

Up at 5:30 in the morning watching the Weather Channel. Evidently it's 21 degrees outside....bitter bitter bitter cold. My part of the US is in a deep freeze today.

CRAMPS !!! PAIN !!!
Got up and really hurting.
Took a Norco, waiting for it to kick in.
I checked, not running a fever. I think I thrashed around in bed and wound up laying on my right side where the incisions are for too long.
