Went out for breakfast, then spent some quality time slogging through the 1st clarinet parts for some community band music.  (I normally play 2nd clarinet but have to sub for 1st occasionally.)

Managed to get through a terrifying ostinato pattern in a Phantom of the Opera medley (albeit not yet at performance speed) without emitting a blood-curdling scream.

I went to a professional rodeo a few weeks ago and before it started, they had everyone stand for a prayer. Ugh. No idea what that has to do with riding a bull...you'll need more than a prayer to an imaginary being to keep you on a bull named "Widespread Panic" for 8 seconds.

Celebrating on the inside, trying to keep a calm facade on the outside, at least until I talk to the boss. Today's going to be my last day here! I had a fantastic interview yesterday and they've already made (and I've accepted) a very good offer. My first day is Thursday.
