Just got back from grocery shopping. The Asian grocery where I get my kimchi didn't have my brand in anything smaller than a 128 oz. jar, so that's what I got. Thankfully I didn't have to remove a shelf in my fridge to fit it in. Still, I wish they had my brand in the smaller jars. Hauling out a huge jar every morning is not my druthers.
Later this afternoon I'm going to a meeting of my philosophy group. We'll be discussing a book about the ramifications of super intelligent artificial intelligence. I'm skeptical that we'll see any such thing anytime soon, but it's something to talk about. My philosophy group tends to focus on more recent, topical books. It would be nice to find a group that focuses on the classics, but perhaps that's more of a special interest.
