I've been cutting back on drinking, and refocusing stay-at-home energy to working on guitar. Currently have been noodling out Black Sabbath's "Wicked World".

5 jobs to do today (Saturday morning).

1 - go to the dentist
2 - go to Bunnings to buy more boxing tape
3 - go to Aldi to buy a couple of Saturday special buys (zap protected powerboards)
4 - drop of the foxtel box at the post office. Cancelled everything. I only watched the footy anyway

5 - come back home without catching any nasties!

(6 - play Doom eternal again but no cheating!)

Went to the hardware store and bought a storage cabinet out of (sob) melamine coated particle board. I'm attempting to organize the last bit of "shop" so that I have things out of the way for doing wood working and wood carving, instead of having to move something every time I want to do something. I suspect that unless I move to a different place that already has a dedicated work space, other people will keep piling stuff in it. If I managed to do this move, there would be a lock on the door and only one key.

Trying to figure out how to change up the daily routine of loungewear/comfy clothes.

Currently in dark gray yoga pants and a light gray T-shirt that says, "But I don't want to go outside. There are people out there."

I am thinking it may be good to find something a little more colorful and upbeat.

The C Kalimba I ordered last week has arrived today. It sounds nice, and I frequently find myself trying to play the intro to "Won't You Be My Neighbour" (not the vocal line, which has some crucial accidentals that can't really be done on a strictly diatonic instrument), although the higher notes are a bit harder to play because the tines are short and stiffer (and they're spaced tighter than I'm used to).

And this week in the Deep Hurting Project will be Seltzerberg's Disaster Movie on Hulu. Will this be the worst movie in the Project? Tune in to find out.
