Getting ready for another trip to the vet.

Had the dogs fasting yesterday because one needed to have bloodwork done at her appointment. Husband came home and gave them all a snack. Now I have to take her back to the vet for the bloodwork because she hadn't fasted for eight hours.

Husband will be in the doghouse for the foreseeable future.

Remember when I wrote about ordering a pedal based on the Z. Vex Super Hard On? It has finally arrived:

I ordered it on January 31. The first one was last seen at the Northbrook UPS Center on February 7. Last week, I decided to get back to the vendor about it, and he decided that since UPS wasn't doing much about it, he'd make and send a second one. It came today, after only about two days stranded at the Northbrook UPS Center (and one was a Sunday) and not (as far as I can tell) eternity. As for the pedal itself, it did not disappoint. It sounds great, although I did have to crank the volume a bit more than I'm used to, but that should probably be expected.

And for the record, all the labeling came from my own labeling machine. And the stripe pattern on the bottom came from the cartridge crapping out shortly after I started.

Another day, another dog, another trip to the vet. This one more expensive.

Next week two of my three are going in for dental cleanings. My Pandemic Plan is to keep the vet clinic open by giving them all my money.

I'd ask if you need a Band-aid but this sounds like it's more in tourniquet territory.

Herself will be home for lunch soon and I just KNOW she’ll want me to have stitches. Bleeding is stopped, got it cleaned up and patched with gauze. I don’t think I can keep her from seeing it.
