At work.
Melting in almost 40' C heat. Thank fek for air-conditioning!
Still a bit sleepy. Maybe I'll go back to bed and get another 60 winks. Retirement kicks ass!

Lying in bed listening to the rain falling outside.
Also have a wet cat, who has been out in the rain all night, sleeping on me. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???"
Purrrrrrrrr, sounds delightful Valk, good for you. I'd love a cat but we aren't allowed pets here, not on ground floor and no garden, single room in shared house. The only pet I've truly had all mine was a ginger kitten who found my back garden in another property and "adopted" ME! I named him Joey and he later was taken in by my mother and stepdad when I had to move. He now chose to attach to one of their neighbours probs due to their dogs, but he always comes over to say hi and rub against my ankles when I visit. I really oughta get over myself and becme pet manager whatever the rules once again methinks.

Quite Boru, that was the gist of my post.
Just woke up from a nice long morning nap. Trying to make up for the chopped up sleep schedule I usually have.
Back to sewing soon. Son needs masks and I am making masks for the grandkids out of Christmas themed fabric I found in the closet. I gave a quilt each to my older daughter and son when we got together on Thanksgiving. I have one ready to sew together for my other daughter that needs to be completed, boxed up, and shipped out in the next week along with more mask for her and the kids. I've put a lot of miles on the sewing machine I bought in the spring when my old one blew up. RE: What's everyone up to right now?

Here’s something I tried to do last night:
This pain-stakingly cropped mock-up composite DVD cover was as far as I could get. Since I couldn’t get a proper full shot of the actual DVD insert, I managed to create this composite from pictures in an eBay auction (for a variety of reasons, artistic and practical, I couldn’t just scan the library’s copy’s cover I had). Then I tried to get Dad to burn the DVD I got. He was eager. The hardware, however, wasn’t, and apparently Fox Lorber encrypted the DVD to make it impossible. So, Dad just decided to get a Korean import because it’s the only way to get it for less than $50 and without a time limit (even if it is longer than usual.) Also, there’s a full-length version on YouTube and Now Dad got the idea of playing that on the TV, having the DVD recorder rip it, and record it.
