I didn't even think about it. I've got smoked brats and cheddar wurst, but I think this is best. Your suggestion did prompt me to discover a German sausage shop nearby, though. Sadly I'm broke.

Oops. We're not celebrating Christmas this year, so I made gift bags of stocking stuffers with a gift card. Unfortunately, I neglected to check what was written inside the cheap card that I got for my brother-in-law, who is an atheist like I am. It says something smarmy about celebrating the birth of Jesus -- a very religious sentiment. Fortunately, I skipped my nap and got started earlier than planned, so I have time to go to the store and get something more appropriate.

Just decided to cancel the Fiji trip. Partly because of typhoon damage but mostly because of  travel restrictions we were assured would be lifted by the time of our departure.

Also, waiting for Beccs to get back so I can get some advice on murdering a travel agent.

A friend of mine from TTA had to cancel a trip to Hawaii earlier this year thanks to COVID restrictions.  They didn't have a problem with the airlines as far as refunds were concerned but I still don't think they got their money back on the deposit they put on the house they were renting.  

I was lucky in that my trip for 2020 was not that big of a deal and I did have hotel reservations that could be cancelled with no penalty up to a day before check in.

Hate to hear about the cancelation of the trip to Fiji.  A friend went there a few years back and the pictures he shared were awesome.  What a lovely place.
