Spent about an hour and a half taking a bronchial challenge test. Two women repeatedly asking me to breathe into an apparatus long after I’m certain my lungs have emptied, and imploring me to do “one more time” so many times the word “once” has lost all meaning, and I don’t even get an actual diagnosis from it. I’m apparently close to the threshold for asthma, but somehow I don’t reach it.

Also, on an unrelated note, I found out that a guitar rack that Dad and I have owned for years apparently belonged to one Jeff Tweedy of Wilco. Apparently, Dad got it from a guy who worked in music publicity and, if he Remembers it accurately, the guy told him Tweedy gave it to him at some point.

Cursing the latest bout of insomnia.

And it's fucking cold! Currently the wind chill is 11 degrees. Over the next several days we are supposed to have the coldest weather here in N Texas in 30 years. And - we may get several inches of snow starting tomorrow night and lasting into Monday.

Yesterday the dogs didn't even want to go out to chase the squirrel in the back yard. Too flippin' cold for that.
