Forgot the password to my Apple ID...my bad...should have written it down on my forehead with a Sharpie.

I was on chat with Apple after trying to fix it myself failed for over an hour two nights ago only to have "support" get me locked out.

On chat again this evening...same result.

Then on a phone call with support...same fucking result.

Each time they can't verify my account and will take time...maybe days.  I have given them everything but my first born to prove who I am.  Yeah, so that's the last iPhone for me.  I might...might...but probably not...be able to call them back and have it fixed in 24 hours.

That sucks. Hope you get it back working again.

The guy I spoke to on the phone asked if I wanted to file a complaint.  I laughed and just said, "Yeah, right, me against Apple, let's not waste any more time on useless endeavors."

Well, the solution is to disable our phones till Apple decides to let me reset the password after it proves I am me. This after a call from the guy I just spent an hour on the phone with.

Next phone will NOT be an iPhone.

Well, having been a line programmer (FORTRAN, and then with C++ extensions- yes, I'm OLD) for a decade or so, and having had Apple products inflicted on me (I mainly used mainframes), and my one experience with a MAC that crashed with astonishing regularity (well, I shouldn't use the word "regularity" in this regard, because it was anything but "regular")), I wouldn't have another Apple product ever again...except, much to my eternal shame, I have to admit that I did buy an iPod to use in my car, for music. Sirius/XM sucks even worse, and I won't pay for bad shit, especially on a monthly basis.
