I went to dinner with a friend on Friday night.

He cooked since we were in lockdown.

I took beer and dessert (chocolate Bavarian).

Dinner was had.

Beer was drunk.



I came home on Sunday morning.

The heat dome finally passed, it went from 115F to 80F in a few hours.

Enjoying the last hours before toddling home in the cold dark, drizzly evening. ( 56' F. 94%Humidity)

The plan is to stop by the local Chinese (Cantonese run) take-a-way for garlic chicken and boiled rice with extra Charlottes and mushrooms.

A nice hot shower, then snuggle under the 'Dooner'/'quilt'.

But instead, I found this old "story" that's been shared on FB so many times in my country
Lately, I often found it again on my FB wall

One day, there's a dude going into a barbershop, asking for a haircut and a clean shave.
While giving a haircut, the barber talks about how he thinks that there's no God
Because this world is full of pain, sickness and suffering
So, either God is evil for deliberately let all of that pain to happen
Or God didn't exist.
The customer kept silent as he listened to the barber talking that God didn't exist
After getting a haircut and a clean shave,
The customer go outside for a moment then came back inside the barbershop
"There is no barber in this town!"
"What are you talking about? I'm a barber, i just gave you a haircut just a moment ago"
"If there's a barber in this town, why there's so many people out there with messy hair?"
"It's because they didn't come to me, if they come here, i would gladly get it done"

With a satisfied face, the customer replied
"Exactly"

So, I want to know how would you deal with this fictional story?
What's your comeback?
For once, I would like to give a comment with devastating effect

I finally got the DAP I talked about earlier. Unfortunately, the 512 Gig Micro SD card has yet to arrive. However, Dad does have a 2 gig Micro SD card that I could use to test it. I uploaded The Beatles’ entire catalogue (well, the canonical 13 albums plus 1, Let It Be Naked, LOVE, Past Masters, and the Yellow Submarine Songtrack) and, after some teething troubles with the micro SD card and interface, it’s working perfectly.
