Oh, it’ll be costly. I just hope it doesn’t take too long - builders here are both pricey and not stampeded by that ‘keeping to a schedule’ nonsense.

The rains here revealed a leak in the garage roof. Husband was going to fix it but instead went and bought a bunch of landscaping bricks and is apparently building a wall around the front yard instead.

His choice...it's mostly his stuff in the garage anyway.

Same here. So much new construction going on here, so a lot of contractors are backed up. Good luck and hope it goes well.

Just received my second dose of Sinovac vaccine.

There's another big outbreak in my country. But somehow my place of work decided to do nothing about it...
And then there's this old dude (63) who even though he already got 2 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine,
He still caught it somehow.

"Gin, your place is near his house, no?"
"I guess.."
"Do you mind deliver this herbal potion to him?"
"Yes! I do mind"

Call me fucking selfish or whatever you want
But i absolutely don't want to risk it again
For what? For a dude i don't even like?

(I caught covid on January 5th, 2021, tested negative on January 21st, 2021.
Lose my sense of taste and smell for 6 weeks. Fully recovered on February 2021, i think)

Enjoying my morning quiet time before I head over to feed the animals. Should have water service by the end of this week or the start of the next. Three generations of family, both sets of in-laws, my brother , and us under one roof this past week. It’s been challenging,
