Replacing my shop-vac. The old one started howling. Wore the bearings out after years of use, drawing the sawdust off my wood working machines.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
Just moved the parrots out onto the deck. It's been a couple years since they have been out there and both are looking a little confused.
At least when I go out to get in the pool I'll have company. And the big parrot likes music so she and I can jam.

I built my dust separator I use on my sandblaster... Essentially a plywood box with hanging sock filters - 4 six inch x 3 foot - and a big squirrel cage blower drawing the air. Much quieter than a shop vac....
Puzzling over an email I just received. I ordered fabric to make curtains for an upstairs room. I ordered 6 yards. The company emailed me to say that they have it in pieces - a 5.5 yard piece and a .5 yard piece...would I like that. Well, if you can come and make the windows a few inches shorter the 5.5 yard piece would be just lovely. Good grief.

Running into a bit of that myself with vendors and contractors. We’re already in for the trench, so we’re gonna have pressure and a manifold system installed while everything’s cracked open.

Well, so much for swimming right now. Brought speaker, towel, tea, etc. out to the deck getting ready to jump in the pool when the rain that's not in the forecast set in. Not just a little sprinkly shower but a full on downpour. Knowing how weather can be freaky here, I am not going to wait for lightning and thunder...maybe this will pass soon.
Weather forecasters are really crap at their jobs.
