I haven't heard anything in all these years and I never asked, never looked. My mother talked to my ex's dad today and it has upset me greatly to learn how difficult things have been for her and how unhappy and isolated she has become.

Woke up with a sore throat and a uvula so big I couldn’t even take a sip of water without feeling like I was hitting it like a punching bag. I had to call in sick. Fortunately, it seems to be healing pretty fast.

FWIW, I spent a ton of money for tires for my truck that I use to tow our travel trailer. The trailer's and truck's tires are now about 5 years old, which is the replacement age, notwithstanding the miles on them. Replacement cost is about $1800 for them all. They have maybe 1000 miles on them.
