Looking like a viable solution moving forward?
I just dropped $300.00 on a new fountain pen, and I’m here frustrated that I’ve yet to use it due to a combination of life, chores, kid, and the fact that I don’t want to put any of the inks that I have on hand in it. I ordered a bottle of Iroshizuku Tsuki-Yo last night and now can do nothing but wait.

Wow! When I was much younger I used fountain pens and did some calligraphy. Though it's something I haven't done in many years I think it was my gateway drug to being a pen snob. There are certain pens I like to use and carry my own so I don't have to touch one of those nasty stick pens that others offer for your use.
Do you have special projects that you use fountain pens for?

Possible solution, gonna take at least 3 months before I make a determination.
OK, tell me, what the hell do you do with a $300 fountain pen that can't be done with a regular old ball point?

Fountain pens have lots of advantages - they don’t skip or blob, and the writing is smoother. Also, can use different nibs to get different line thicknesses.

Just journaling and whatever writing I happen to do. I have the artistic talent of Michael J. Fox.

It’s a different experience. And it’s hard to describe. But the big one is the huge variety in Nib sizes and inks you can use.

My recent acquisition is a Pilot Custom 823 with a Fine Nib. It’s supposed to be good for long writing sessions. I often see the word “workhorse”. I may give up and put something in it just to try it out.
I’ve tried over the last few years to pull away from social media and focus on reading and writing.

I’ve got a set of Rapidographs that I use for drawing up project plans. Nothing fancy, just good technical pens.

*large mocha frappe in hand*
Service was slow, probably because of a person ahead of us in the drive thru who wanted everything fresh. Park and go in the damn restaurant next time if you're going to be that picky, instead of holding up the line.

Currently faced with a dillema o we whether I'm upset with someone over something they did, or whether it's something else entirely.
Fucking brains, how do they work.

I've been searching the net for complete horsepower and torque charts for my truck, because it doesn't really get the job done on hills. I'm trying to determine whether I need a bigger engine or to just put in a lower geared (higher numerical ratio) rear end. If you want to know what the peak horsepower and torque are for anything on the 'net except my truck, you'll be pleased with my search results. Dafuq?
