I think I'm out of Mike's hard lemonade. I decided to put off buying a new monitor, probably until 2023, so I'm now flush with cash. I really like the hard lemonade, but if it's not around, I'm more likely to drink the beer & whiskey that I already have on hand. That might be a good thing. Though a six-pack of cranberry hard lemonade couldn't hurt, could it?

Very happy with the gift(s) I made for my oldest granddaughter. I finished a quilt for her the other day, today I made two matching pillows and am quite pleased with the result.
Drinking coffee waiting for the next bus. My soup preparations spiraled a bit out of control.

Just got off the university scheduling pages, checking for course availability (registration for me is tomorrow morning at 9 a.m.) I'm going to take three courses in the fall: Critical Thinking, Introduction to the Reading of Latin, and Roman Culture & History.
Had a splendid evening, walking about town, listening to my first Audible book, and taking the occasional break riding public transportation.
Trying to stay cool, it's been unnaturally hot recently and we only have a single very overworked portable A/C unit.

I feel like I have been living in a slow cooker for over a month. On the radio Wednesday they said the record for triple digit heat without a break was 41 days - at the time of that broadcast we were at 31 with the forecast looking quite like that's a record that will fall.
