Getting ready to get ready to leave this hotel room...still have to process payroll before I go.

Spent the evening with daughter and grandkids, we had a nice time.

Yesterday afternoon was spent with a dear old friend....we didn't have enough time and hope to squeeze in some more time together when she isn't busy selling real estate.

In an unexpected twist...going to a 7 year old's birthday party on Saturday afternoon. I helped raise his dad who was my son's best friend through school. I am thinking LEGOs are a good gift idea for a young boy I have never met????

I think LEGOs are a pretty safe bet. If you can, though, get in touch with his parents and find out his interests (you wouldn’t want to get him a Star Wars kit if he’s into Batman).

I hope you get better.  I had Bell's palsy once.  For some it resolves itself, for some it doesn't.  Either way, I hope your palsy is mild and goes away.

Thank you very much for your support. I was experiencing strong irritation in my left eye, which I had to treat with prescription strength eye drops and eye patches. Yesterday evening I was able to use conventional eye drops for relief and I watched TV for several hours without an eye patch. I slept well during the night, and my eye feels fine this morning, as long as I don't rub it. The left side of my lips are still paralyzed, and I have to be very careful eating. My recovery, thus far, is slow, but promising.

To assist me in my recovery, my HMO is sending me two weeks' worth of free frozen meals.

Oop. I've been in the doldrums all day, so I thought I'd make dinner early. Then it hit me. I need to thaw ground beef before I make dinner and I forgot about it completely. Fortunately, by starting early I now have time.
